Bionera's Moss Elixir is an anti-aging cream that harnesses the strength of nature's ingredients, using active moss, to combat the signs of aging.
I was responsible for creating Bionera's product image before its launch.
The look goal was to endorse the connection between the product and it's natural ingredients. The fluffy, yet realistic appearence of the moss was essential in representing the softness of the face cream and its main active ingredient.
Research & Development
I've built a procedural moss setup in Cinema 4D, made out of various moss textures, sprouts and grass from Quixel Megascans, that can be spread along any surface.
Through in hand reference, I've modeled the jar in Plasticity and achieved its realistic texturing and shading in Redshift.
The cream was a achieved through a blend of tries, between Houdini fluid simulations and C4D volume modeling setups.
